
Black list The end has come.
The hit NBC series is set to wrap up for good after its tenth season, which premieres Feb. 26, the network announced Wednesday. The show will also celebrate its 200th episode on March 19.
“After 10 years, hundreds of people Black list case and more than 200 episodes produced, we are honored to reach our conclusion, “John Eisendrath said in a statement. “It was incredibly fun to create a strange, sinister and delightful blacklist that will challenge Raymond Reddington and our FBI work. Mandatory each week.”
He continued, “We thank everyone at NBC and Sony, our extraordinary team who make the impossible happen every day, our creative writers and producers, and our outstanding cast who bring these characters to life. We are grateful to our dedicated fans. Come along for this wonderful ride and are excited to share this final season with them.”
With the announcement, NBC shared a first look at the final season of Black list which promises to be the “last ride” for US Naval Intelligence officer Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader).

Black list Proved to be the perfect combination of highly talented producers, stellar writing, actors who never fail to deliver and a crew that always rises to the occasion,” Lisa Katz, President of Scripted Content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming said in a statement. “Thanks to our partners at Sony, everyone from the past decade who made this show part of NBC’s history and, of course, to James Spader, whose performance is nothing short of spectacular.”
Jason Clodfelter, co-president of Sony Pictures Television Studios, added: “We are grateful to our wonderful partners at NBC for 10 outstanding seasons of ‘The Blacklist,’ the series that introduced the world to Raymond Reddington, played by the beautiful James Spader. James led a talented and diverse cast representing hundreds of famous actors and Blacklisters who made us all root for this anti-hero. The unpredictable plot twists produced a legacy of television that served to entertain viewers around the world and as we enter the final season, we can’t wait to see how Raymond Reddington’s final season.”
Black list Star Spader confirmed the crime thriller will return for a tenth season during an appearance Tonight show Starring Jimmy Fallon Last year.
“We just got here this afternoon,” he told host Jimmy Fallon in February 2022. “Everyone was rushing to try and get it done so we could announce it on the show. We just got picked up for the tenth season.”
as fans of Black list To know, the show — which premiered in 2013 — chronicles Red who disappeared from the grid and became one of the 10 most wanted fugitives FBI. After he surrendered to the authorities, he submitted a criminal blacklist to the FBI.
The season finale will escalate as Red faces a new threat after he solves Liz Keen’s (Megan Boone) murder. In the Season 9 finale, No. 84 from the Blacklist escaped from prison and told the other escapees that Red was an FBI informant putting him at risk as they sought “serious revenge.”
The new season will also see Anya Banerjee joining the show Black listTVLine reports.
The actress is set to play Siya Malik – an active intelligence officer for the British intelligence service known as MI6 – who is the daughter of the late Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra), who died in season 1.
Spader and Banerjee will be joined by returning members Diego Klattenhoff, Hisham Tawfiq, and Harry Lennix.
