Some fun and unique math problems from an exceptionally well done book. Here’s more from The Math Sorcerer:
In this video, I will show you a book with tons of cool math. This book focuses on special functions, which are functions that you might see in a specific physics or engineering course. If you take a course like partial differential equations, you will also see some special functions. In this video I talk a little bit about the book and then discuss the infinite product. I actually do an example where we find infinite products. I have chosen an example that I hope you can understand if you have some calculations. Pre-reqs for this book are the full calculus sequence (calc 1 through calc 3) and a course on differential equations. This book is used to teach the courses of advanced undergraduate and graduate students. This book is called Special Duty and it is written by Larry Andrews.
Stop breadboarding and soldering – start doing it now! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is full of LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clips and more. Create a project with Circuit Playground in minutes with the MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump over to CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use Arduino. IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, supporting CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, a small speaker, receiving and transmitting InfraRed signals, two buttons, switches, 14 alligator clips, and numerous sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, movement and sound. The vast world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.
