Column: ‘Watermedia’ show opens opportunities | Local entertainment

Building and inspiring community through the visual arts. The mission of SAGE Community Arts is one that I may be biased but truly believe in its importance. Our latest exhibit in the gallery is “Wyoming Waters: Small Works Watermedia.” This show is everything that SAGE strives for through our mission.

When working together to solicit art for the “Wyoming Waters: Small Works” exhibit, it was important to have as few restrictions as possible for artists to submit artwork for the exhibit. The book for the call of art states that the work that needs to be created within the last two years, must be mostly water-based media (watercolor, gouache, acrylics, etc.) cannot exceed 20 inches in height or width, inclusive. frame, and that only 40 points are available to get first come first serve.
